How do I purchase?

1. Click the book’s green purchase button. You will be directed to the checkout page.
2. Choose payment via credit card or PayPal.com.
3. Enter your email address, name, and payment info.
4. Click the “Purchase” button.
   Note: If you are paying with PayPay, you will leave Creative Field Recording temporarily to pay securely, then return.
5. You will see the Creative Field Recording purchase confirmation page. Your e-Books will be listed at the base of the page, with links. Click the link to download the books.

You will also be sent a confirmation email with the same link. You may download it from either location.

Note: the link expires after three downloads, or 24 hours. If you run into problems downloading, contact me. I will get you your files.

How do I use a discount code?

Note: discounts only work in the Creative Field Recording bookshop, not on Amazon.com.

1. Click the green “Buy Now” button, as described above.
2. Click the “Click to enter it” link beneath your order items:
   
3. Click the “Apply” button, and the discount will be applied.
   
4. Proceed with the checkout process as described above.

How do I download the e-Books?

There are two ways to download your e-Books.

Option 1: Download On Creative Field Recording, Immediately After Purchase

After payment you'll be returned to Creative Field Recording. There are links to your books at the bottom of the page. Download instructions:

1. Click each link at the bottom of the page. This will download a ZIP file containing your e-book. Do this from a PC or laptop (i.e., not a mobile phone), and avoid using download manager software.
2. Depending on your browser, clicking the link will open a new (blank) browser window, or simply download the file in the background. It will save to your browser's default download location (usually "My documents," "Downloads," or your desktop, etc).
3. Double click that ZIP file. It will unpack and the e-book will be inside.

Option 2: Download From Your Confirmation Email

You'll also receive a confirmation email invoice. This will list your purchase, and also include a link.

How to download an e-book from your confirmation email:

1. Click each link in your confirmation email. Do this from a PC or laptop (i.e., not a mobile phone), and avoid using download manager software.
2. Clicking the link will open a new (blank) browser window. It will save to your browser's default download location (usually "My documents," "Downloads," or your desktop, etc).
3. Double click that ZIP file. It will unpack and the e-book will be inside.

My download manager software can’t download the libraries. Can you help?

It's best to avoid using download manager software for downloading the e-books.

Download managers may time out or expire the e-book links prematurely. Download managers send multiple requests and create multiple connections to the server. Each of these connections count as a download. Creative Field Recording will receive a large amount of requests to download the e-books and may result in the download exceeding the download limit.

If this has happened to you, please contact us and we will send you new links.

My download link doesn’t work. What can I do?

The download link expires after 24 hours.

If your link doesn't work, contact me with your purchase email address. I will get the e-Book to you.

I can’t download the e-Book to my iPad or iPhone. What’s up?

The e-Books are combined together in one compressed ZIP file. Most tablets and smart phones cannot understand the ZIP format.

Download the e-Books to your desktop or laptop computer, then copy them to your iPhone or iPad. Instructions are included inside the ZIP file.

If you don't have a desktop computer, please contact me. I will get you the e-book.

Where are my downloads?

After downloading, you'll find the e-Book ZIP package in your browser's default download location.

In most cases this will be a Downloads folder, My Documents folder, or on your Desktop.

How do I read the e-Books?

A "readme" file included with the download explains how to add the e-Books to your e-device or PC.

There are also links to free e-readers, such as Calibre.
